Giuseppe Camosci
Giuseppe Camosci is a lawyer registered with the Milan Bar and with a right of audience before the Court of Cassation. He is an official auditor. He started his career at the “département juridique” of an international pharmaceutical company. After being appointed as manager in 1978, in 1981 he became head of the corporate and tax area at an auditing company owned by an Italian Bank. In 1984 he became a partner of Studio di Consulenza Fiscale e Societaria, the correspondent in Italy of Arthur Anderesen & Co., and subsequently Senior Partner in 1987 with responsibility for the Turin office, after which he was appointed as Country Practice Director. In 1990 he founded CGP along with Artemio Guareschi and Mario Piantanida. Thanks to his long-standing corporate experience and legal background, he is particularly interested in corporate issues, ranging from “everyday” matters to complex extraordinary reorganisations, negotiational and contractual aspects of M&A operations and finally tax litigation. He has been appointed to the boards of directors and boards of statutory auditors of important national and international companies.
Guareschi
Artemio Guareschi
Artemio Guareschi is a Chartered Accountant and Auditor. He started his career in 1973 as an Auditor at Arthur Andersen & C. Italy, being appointed in 1974 to its Tax Consultancy Division. In 1984 he became a partner, followed by an appointment in 1986 as Head of the Tax and Legal Division Offices in Milan. In 1988 he became Country Managing Partner of the Tax and Legal Department at Arthur Andersen & Co. The eighteen years’ experience at the highest levels provided him with the right grounding for starting out as an independent consultant alongside Giuseppe Camosci and Mario Piantanida. In addition to his tax consultancy work he deals with corporate issues, extraordinary reorganisations of significant corporate groups and negotiational and evaluative aspects relating to M&A operations. Former Professor of Economics at the Catholic University in Milan. Professor at M&A Masters at Luigi Bocconi University in Milan. He has been appointed to the boards of directors and boards of statutory auditors of important national and international companies.
Piantanida
Mario Piantanida
Mario Piantanida is a Chartered Accountant and has been included in the Milan Professional Register since 1980 and the Register of Auditors since 1995. He started his career in 1972 at Arthur Andersen & Co. in Milan, first as an auditor and subsequently in the Tax Department. He became a director in June 1977, taking on responsibility for the provision of tax consultancy to clients operating predominantly in the banking, financial and leasing sector. In 1980 he left Arthur Andersen to found the management consultancy company “Bersani e Vitale S.r.l.” along with Prof. Marco Vitale and Dr. Pio Bersani. Within that company he worked above all in the following fields: analysis and verification of the objectives and reliability and feasibility of company plans in the light of the strong and weak points of the company, financial, tax and corporate planning, acquisitions and divestments, in particular during the analysis and valuation of companies. In 1990 he founded the firm Camosci Guareschi Piantanida e Associati along with Giuseppe Camosci and Artemio Guareschi. His long experience and background in corporate issues enable him to engage in a professional manner with both everyday and extraordinary corporate, financial and tax issues. He has been involved in numerous restructuring and reorganisation operations of corporate groups and numerous M&A operations, acquiring particular experience also in the area of company valuations. He was responsible for teaching financial statements and financial statement analysis on the managerial and entrepreneurial training course held at the Adriano Olivetti Study Institute for Economic and Corporate Management from 1986 until 1995 and Contract Professor in Tax Law at LIUC – Università Cattaneo in Castellanza in 1993-1997. He has been appointed to the boards of directors and to the boards of statutory auditors of important national and international companies.
